XGSun Rushes Emergency Aid to Flood-Stricken Hengzhou

Affected by Typhoon, from 8:00 AM on July 4 to 11:00 AM on July 6, most parts of Nanning, Guangxi, experienced heavy to torrential rainstorms, with some areas even seeing extreme rainfall. River levels surged rapidly. On the morning of July 6, multiple reservoirs in counties and cities around Nanning reported overtopping risks, triggering severe flooding and flash floods in many places. Some villages and towns were submerged, roads, power, and communication lines were cut off, and the daily life and production of local residents were severely disrupted.

Disasters strike without mercy, but humanity shows compassion. When one side suffers, all sides come to help. Immediately after the disaster struck, alongside the rescue forces fighting on the front lines, relief supplies from all over were urgently dispatched overnight.

As a local enterprise rooted in Guangxi, XGSun reached out to the relevant local authorities at the first moment after the disaster to proactively understand the actual needs of the affected areas. Upon learning that Yunbiao Town, the hardest-hit area, was in urgent need of drinking water and food, the company decided to take concrete action without delay—no lengthy procedures, only a race against time. The company issued a call for charitable donations to all employees, and within just a few hours, staff from management to the production floor generously contributed. Every donation, large or small, carried the same heartfelt sentiment: our fellow citizens are in distress, and we must do something. Meanwhile, the company urgently procured bottled water and staple foods such as rice that met safety standards, determined to deliver peace of mind to the disaster-stricken areas as soon as possible.

On July 10, employee representatives of XGSun personally accompanied the transport trucks, delivering relief supplies directly to Yunbiao Town. On the roads leading to the disaster zone, we saw countless other trucks fully loaded with supplies—from different cities, industries, and enterprises of all sizes. Some bore banners reading “Stay Strong, Guangxi,” while others said, “Through Wind and Rain, We Stand Together.”

Currently, emergency drainage, rescue, and resettlement efforts in Hengzhou are proceeding in an orderly manner. All employees of XGSun cheer for Guangxi and sincerely wish the affected residents a swift return to normal production and daily life.
